Stump Removal

Suncoast Tree Service of Sarasota is waiting for your call to make those pesky stumps disappear.

Here’s how we do it:

  • 1. Prepare the area for grinding

Before we start it’s a good idea to mark any underground utilities and protect surrounding plants, windows, and screens from flying debris. Then we cut down the stump nice and low.

  • 2. Grind the stump below the ground

We grind out the stump and surface roots to a depth of 4”-6” below grade. If you’re going to replant we can go deeper. Smaller stumps can be pulled out of the ground, roots and all.

  • 3. Clean up the mess

Large stumps can leave behind a heap of wood chips. Some customers save money by putting it around their flower beds. You can choose for us to clean it up and haul it off, or even add soil and resod.
